HOOTHOOT & NOCTOWL ✦ FLATS
*GRAIL*
SOFT DRINK LABEL Source: Finnish auction site I actually never thought I'd find one after losing an auction YEARS ago. In Finland, we had Pokemon themed soft drinks during the GSC era. The one this label came from was razzberry-vanilla flavored, there was blue soft drink as well but I can't remember the flavor for that one. Every label had a coloring page on the other side and apparently Hoothoot was one of the Pokemon that were included (if you colored it in and sent it to the soft drink company, you had a chance to win a GBC and either Gold or Silver version). There is also one with Hoothoot on the front which I'm very desperate about... I am very happy to finally have this in my collection! My favorite items are these obscure items like candy wrappers and other package stuff. Rarity: I don't even- |
EUROPEAN BOOMER GUM STICKERS
Source: Pkmncollectors I remember these stickers from my childhood, I had a holo Pikachu sticker which was my pride and joy. The patten on the holo stickers are like small letters, they look really cute. I only need the non-holo Noctowl to finish the set. Rarity: Uncommon/Rare |
PAN STICKERS
Source: Pkmncollectors Assorted pan stickers of the owls, there's one Hoothoot sticker I still don't have (it's not even rare, I see it in Y!J all the time haha). Quite basic poses, except for the Hoothoot on top right, haven't seen that pose used aside from this pan sticker. Rarity: Uncommon |
AMADA STICKERS
Source: Pkmncollectors (mostly) Assorted types of Amada stickers of Hoothoot and Noctowl. There are many I still need, but I'm pretty sure I have bit over a half of them? There's no full guide for Amada's so it's a little hard to tell how many I still missing. I actually really wish there would be a guide or something, it would make things so much more easier. Rarity: Uncommon/rare/very rare (depends) |
CUBITZ BATTLING CUBES
Source: eBay Found these, uhm, "battling cubes" on eBay very randomly. The seller was from Australia so I assume these are Australia exclusive or something? I've never seen or heard about Cubitz before I found a lot of them. They kinda look like puzzle pieces, the front has picture and name of a Pokemon and the back side can be made into a full picture if you piece them together, like a puzzle. The Hoothoot piece has a Hoothoot on the other side, so I kept both from the lot. Rarity: Rare? |
TRANSPARENT TOPPS CARD
Source: Pkmncollectors A card from some weird Topps card series, where all the cards were transparent plastic ones and some had dots on them and you could overlap the cards with dots to form words or something. I never really understood the function of these cards when I was younger (not that I would understand it now when I'm older). Rarity: Uncommon |
KANTO & JOHTO BOOKMARK
Source: Pkmncollectors I don't know where this bookmark originates, but I just had to get it when I saw the little Hoothoot on it. It's very cute and I wish I had another so I could use it. The picture is sideways, as it would be bit too long for the page and it would would look dumb. Rarity: Rare |
MERLIN DOUBLE STICKERS
Source: ??? & Pkmncollectors These stickers are from RSE era, they normally have two stickers in one "sheet" but the ones I have have been cut so I only have the owl stickers. I don't know what the other Pokemon came with Hoothoot but there was Flygon with Noctowl. And I don't know if there's a normal version of Hoothoot or holo of Noctowl. Rarity: Uncommon |
TOPPS SCREEN SNAPS! CARD
Source: Pkmncollectors There were a lot of collectible cards with screenshots from the anime in RBY and GSC era, there are more from the same episode this card is from but I haven't been able to buy them all yet. Not sure if there are any of the episode where Ash gets his shiny Noctowl. Rarity: Uncommon |
PEPSI SNACK 3D PUZZLE
Source: eBay I think these are originally from Argentina and came with some Pepsi Snack things. I know there's couple other Pokemon too, they're mostly 2nd generation Pokemon so I'm pretty sure these were made in early 2000's. I want to assemble it but I guess I'll be keeping mine minty until I find another. Rarity: Fairly rare |
LENTICULAR FLIPPO
Source: Pkmncollectors I'm not sure where these came originally, but I remember seeing something similar to these sold with rolled gum packs. So I guess this came from there too. It features Hoothoot and Noctowl, depending how you move it. I managed to get one MIP as well so I have two! Rarity: Uncommon |
ASSORTED POG, FLIPPO & TAZOS
Source: Pkmncollectors Some pogs with the owls on them. The biggest one is Giant Tazo, transparent is a Flippo and the matching Hoothoot and Noctowl are just regulars pogs or something. No idea where the last Noctowl came from originally, it's much thicker than all the others and made out of cardboard when the rest are plastic. Rarity: Uncommon/rare |
VALENTINES CARD
Source: Pkmncollectors Just a simple cut-out Valentines card. I think it's adorable, even tho most of the pictures used for these cards don't really have anything to do with Valentines. The Hoothoot art just happens to have hearts on it so I guess that's why they slapped it on this. Rarity: Uncommon |
SCHEDULE STICKERS
Source: Pkmncollectors Some sort of stickers that can be used with calendars or something? The number on the bottom right corner kinda gives that this sheet or page came with a calendar? I don't really know but it had Hoothoot on it so I just had to have it of course. Rarity: Fairly rare |
JUMBO SEALDASS BOOKLET
Source: Pkmncollectors A jumbo sticker booklet with a lot of stickers inside, the one I happen to own has a lot of the stickers taken out tho (which I wasn't notified when I bought it, sigh). So I'll have to find another full one. It does have some Hoothoot and Noctowl stickers inside but I'm missing like half of them. Rarity: Uncommon |
SCENERY STICKER SET
Source: Pkmncollectors Some kind of set which has stickers and a cardboard with full scenery artwork, so I guess you could put the stickers there to make them look all nice and cool. I'm not going to open the package but the stickers look quite nice. Just got this for the owl stickers obviously. Rarity: Rare |
MERLIN STICKERS
Source: eBay & Pkmncollectors Some of the Merlin stickers with Hoothoot and Noctowl, I'm pretty sure there are more, atleast of the screenshot stickers. The big Noctowl is a two piece sticker and the Hoothoot sticker next to it is a part of 6-piece "puzzle" sticker. There's the package for the stickers too, featuring Hoothoot and other Johto Pokemon. Rarity: Uncommon/rare |
TIPPSKARTE
Source: Pkmncollectors I'm not sure where this is originally from but it's some sort of info cutout card... thing with info of Hoothoot in German. My trustworthy owl flat seller Captainangel on Pkmncollectors sold this to me, as well as most of my book pages. I wonder if there's matching Noctowl one for this? Rarity: Rare |
